In the upcoming months, the opportunity to travel around the United Kingdom and Europe, study and take classes in the Florida State University’s London Study Centre, and intern for British American Business Inc. will become a reality. About a year ago I was applying for a program that promised an opportunity that would “promote the development of international and intercultural awareness, leadership, and personal and professional growth and responsibility” and now, I will be traveling and studying with 26 members of my GLS class, whom I have had the ability to get closer to over this last semester. We have already started to make plans for countries that we hope to visit and activities that we want to accomplish in the short period of time that we will be living abroad.
I never thought that I would be posting my itinerary and all of my thoughts on an online blog, but under the pressure of some of my friends, the guidance of my family, and my personal goal of keeping a record of my busy semester, I now have spent a great deal of time creating this. I hope that you enjoy reading this as much as I will enjoy writing it.
